A World of Glass has been producing stained glass windows and other customized glass art pieces for over 45 years and has built a solid reputation for quality. We strive to create uniquely personal windows for each individual. Each area of expertise is very important in the creation of a window. We may spend as much time detailing a window as we do making it. We want our clients to still be in awe 40 years from now when they look at our work in their homes, businesses and places of worship.

Dennis Phillips has been creating leaded glass art pieces for more than 40 years. He has been the lead artisan at A World of Glass for the past 38 years. He has been involved with all of the Detroit Theater District renovations. As a child, Dennis attended St. Anthony’s School on Detroit’s east side. Going to mass every day and on Sunday, Dennis was inspired by the magnificent stained glass work and murals throughout the church. An opportunity presented itself to learn the craft and Dennis has been creating beautiful works of art ever since.

Kathy Robichaud has been working with glass for the past 37 years. Kathy has had a lifelong love of stained glass. She finds the light passing through colored glass inspiring as it creates a meditative glow from within. Kathy had an opportunity to apprentice with a glass studio while attending college in pursuit of an art degree. She learned not only the techniques for leaded glass but also sandblasted glass and glass carving on large panels. Kathy has been involved with A World of Glass for the past 13 years as a designer, detailer and creator of art glass panels.
